Governmental Affairs

The Committee on Governmental Affairs shall supervise the communication between Student Government Inc. and federal, state, and local governments and officials. This committee is also responsible for supervising the voting and voter registration efforts of Student Government Inc. and creating a more politically knowledgeable Student Body. The committee shall lobby for local, state, or federal legislation if and only if the Student Government Inc. Student Senate approves of the effort through the passing of a resolution. The committee shall supervise and be the primary mouthpiece for the communication between Student Government Inc. and federal, state, and local governments and officials.
